Strawbale House
After the electrical wiring was tucked into the crevises of the strawbale walls and receptacles were mounted, it was time to prepare the walls for plastering. The circular thingies you see on the upper wall are actually thin metal discs with long decksrews poked through them. By inserting these through the chickenwire and into the bales, we were able to create an appropriate surface for applying the first layer of stucco.
