We were fortunate enough to discover an old abandoned and forgotten well, which actually produced about 3 gallons/minute of water. The bad news was it was way down by the road (pictured here just in front of my truck). A 6-foot-deep trench was required in order to prevent the water line from freezing in the fierce mountain winters.
